Saint Oyen - The town of Saint Oyen

Saint Oyen has a population of 188 inhabitants (Saintoyars) and a surface of 940 square kilometers thus showing a population density of 20,00 inhabitants per square kilometer. It rises 1.372 metres above the sea level.

Population: The municipality of Saint Oyen had a popolation of 195 inhabitants accordingly to the results of the national census made in 1991. After the national census made in 2001 the population was 188 inhabitants, thus showing during the years 1991 - 2001 a percentual variation of -3,59% inhabitants.

The inhabitants are distributed in 86 families with an average of 2,19 people per family.

The place: The territory of the municipality lies between 1.297 and 2.731 metres above sea level.

The altimetric spawn is thus of 1.434 metres.

Work and workers:There are 4 industrial firms employing 18 people that are the 30,00% of the total of the workers. There are 3 service firms employing 7 people that are the 11,67% of the total of the workers. There are also 7 firms employing 21 people that are the 35,00% of the total of the workers. There are also 12 administrative offices emplying 14 workers that are the 23,33% of the total of the workers.

There is a total of 60 workers, that are the 31,91% of the inhabitants of the municipality.
